“We saw a parade of right-wing activists go to the state, including Charlie Kirk from Turning Point USA and others. (Virginia) is clearly a place where the right-wing wanted to unfurl its playbook toward 2022 and try to claim that they represent the voices of parents, even though most parents want their kids to be taught honest history and want their kids to be safe from infectious diseases.”
